Weddings & Receptions
Here at Hesket House we offer our Bride and Groom an idyllic environment to enjoy a relaxed and stress free wedding celebration.
If you'd prefer that the focus of your wedding is the joy of the occasion, then let us take the stress out of your day.
Rather than the tension of organising a myriad of details, why not let us create your intimate celebration just as you imagined. We can arrange your Celebrant, catering, photographer, musicians, flowers and cake.
Our optional Honeymoon Suite comprising, bedroom, sitting room and private bathroom, has beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding bushlands. The Retreat has accommodation for 7 to 8 couples (in queen size rooms, depending on Honeymoon Suite option), plus 6 singles (bunk room). We can also arrange additional accommodation in the area.
Value accommodation cost for 22 people, Friday to Sunday: $4800.00. Includes full accommodation, breakfast and Sunday brunch.
We offer extensive menu and reception styles, alternatively we are open to any suggestions you may have.
With beautiful surrounds, and a history of popular successes in catering for groups, we can assure you your wedding will be all that you have wished for.
We welcome guests both before and after your ceremony so consider a pre-wedding dinner the preceding night with your close friends, bridal party, or family, and a day after wedding party brunch.
For your reception, we can cater as few as 20 up to 180 people. Click to see samples and prices of our Cocktail, Banquet and Buffet style reception menus.
A marquee is available, situated on the edge of our tranquill lake.
As well as traditional Chapel, garden or forest ceremonies, we specialise in Celtic and Druid wedding rites. A very popular option is our handfasting ceremonial circle, nestled in a clearing in the forest.
Our rustic and romantic function room can be used as a Chapel, and for dining or dancing.
A one-off cover charge of $550, allows exclusive use of our garden and picturesque surrounds for your ceremony and photographs, and the dressing of your choice of ceremonial sites (flowers, flower arch etc).
